Your art submissions don't appear in the Art Portal unless you've been "scouted" by another user who already has been scouted themselves. Until that happens, they're only on your own personal art page.
If you ARE scouted, you're expected to behave intelligently, both with your art submissions and the people you choose to scout yourself, since any trouble you cause is also reflected upon the person who scouted you.
